Employer partnerships

Access a pipeline of outstanding graduate talent

As a partner employer of Team Up, you will have access to talented school leavers and undergraduates who have the academic ability, leadership experience and industry knowledge to fill your vacancies.

You will benefit from:

Exposure

Last year, we marketed opportunities with our employer partners to over 1,000 students.

Targeting

Our students have to pass a rigorous selection process in order to be accepted onto our programme. As a partner, you can add additional eligibility criteria to cater for your recruitment needs.

Exclusivity

You will have exclusive access to a select group of sixth form and university students. They will be supported by us to make strong applications to your vacancies.

Our Impact

  • Last year our school children made almost double their expected progress in Maths, English and Science.
  • Last year Credit Suisse used Team Up to target ethnic minority students for their Spring Programme. They sponsored 10 students and three secured a place on the programme.
  • PwC recently sponsored 20 of our university students, 10 of whom have made it through their highly competitive selection process to the final stage interview.

Our Ask

To become a partner, you will need to commit:

Time

Our students benefit from the expertise and experience. We ask you to deliver three masterclasses over the course of our programme to improve students’ commercial awareness.

Space

Our programmes are designed to inspire as well as inform young people. The chance to visit your offices demonstrates where their hard work might take them. We hope that delivery space can be found at your offices for at least one session.

Sponsorship

Our programme is subsidised by the Cabinet Office, schools and employer partners. We ask you to contribute £500 per student to cover the cost of the Leadership Programme for our student tutors.

Students who are part of the leadership programme at Team Up have a number of key skills and qualities that stand them in good stead for the job market. They are showing a great deal of perseverance, commitment and motivation, all really important qualities that we look for in our graduate recruits

Caroline Lindner, Norton Rose Fulbright (corporate partner since 2013)

Team Up has certainly left me with valuable skills which have helped me to tackle the graduate job market, securing a place on the graduate scheme at the Financial Services Authority. It has developed my management and teamwork skills, alongside tangibly demonstrating my ability to be flexible and communicate well in a variety of situations.

Rose Acton, Financial Services Authority

If you represent an employer interested in becoming a partner, please contact our CEO Natasha Westover, at natasha.westover@teamup.org.uk. We will arrange a meeting to discuss the programme and answer any questions that you may have.
